EWART WINS TOP PROPERTY AWARD
Leading Northern Ireland property company, William Ewart Properties, has been named Ireland’s Property Company of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony in London.
The Estates Gazette Awards 2008, were held at a black tie event at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, with Belfast based Ewart, beating fellow nominees, Dublin-headquartered Ballymore Group and Harcourt Developments, to be voted Irish Property Company of the Year.

Belfast, Northern Ireland .... William Ewart Properties Limited today announced that it has completed refinancing its German property portfolio. The portfolio which was previously financed by a US Investment House is now banked by Anglo Irish Bank in Belfast.

William Ewart Properties has announced it is to develop over one million square feet of new developments, mainly in Belfast, over the next three years, the company announced today. It is thought to be the largest single development programme ever undertaken by a Northern Ireland property company.

Northern Ireland based William Ewart Properties Ltd has announced the purchase of a major property portfolio in Germany, it was revealed today. The purchase of the German property company came in the same week as Ewart completed the purchase of one of the UK’s major shopping complexes, the Gyle Shopping Centre, Edinburgh. Ewart paid €193m for the German portfolio and £270m for the Gyle.

Northern Ireland property company, William Ewart properties has made a major addition to its expanding British investment portfolio following the acquisition of a 200,000 sq ft shopping and leisure centre located above the Fulham/Broadway tube station in London, it has emerged today. The acquisition price was just below £120m and Belfast agents Osborne King represented Ewart in the deal.
